Global FIA is an innovative technology company offering products, expertise, and system design for the application of flow-based analysis techniques. When Global FIA was founded by Don Olson in 1992, its focus was on Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) and Sequential Injection Analysis (SIA). In recent years, Global FIA has taken this technology to a new level with fluid handling concepts that greatly enhances functionality in sample manipulation and processing. We have coined a new term, Zone Fluidics (ZF), for this new approach to fluid manipulation. We often describe ZF as a "fluidics robot". With the capability of performing complex sample processing operations and analytical measurements, it is much more versatile than its predecessors. A detailed description of ZF can be found in our Tutorial.

Global FIA has established an international customer base that extends onto every continent and into a wide range of business sectors.  Our Global customer base is serviced from our Fox Island location.

Global FIA¹s strength lies in its responsiveness to customer needs, and the large network of business alliances that it has established. To this end, Global FIA has committed itself to high quality and innovative products and solutions.

Global FIA is located on Fox Island.  Fox Island is one of several islands in Puget Sound in Washington state an hour south of Seattle and fifteen minutes from Tacoma.

The closest airport is Seatac (SEA) International Airport which is about fifty minutes away from our lab.  An airport shuttle stops at the Inn at Gig Harbor.

Mt Rainier often provides a breath-taking backdrop to our beautiful work environment.

We welcome visitors to our facility and where required, accommodation can be found in neighboring Gig Harbor.
