B.S. in Chemistry from Gonzaga University and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University. Post-Doctoral research at UCLA and NATO Postdoctoral Fellow at H.C.Orsted Institute in Denmark.  30 years in R&D at Shell Development Co., the research arm of Shell Oil, where he reached the position of Senior Staff Research Chemist before retirement.  He founded Global FIA in 1992 and continues to provide input in the field of Chemistry as well as company strategy and management.
