The milliGAT is a new generation positive displacement pump for precision fluid handling which will pump liquids bi-directionally. It features a remarkable flow range from nL/min to mL/min, and a capability to precisely meter volumes as small as nanoliters. These features make it suitable for many fields of application, including microfluidics, flow synthesis, HTS, dispensing, titrating, FIA, SIA, Zone Fluidics, diluting, and many others. It maintains high precision across the range of flow rates and metered volumes. The user can sequence between nanoliters and milliliters with ease. Its excellent smooth flow characteristics have been employed by end users where flow fluctuations deteriorate data acquired from flow-sensitive detectors.
The milliGAT is an excellent replacement for syringe pumps - it outperforms them and eliminates the need for refill cycles and syringe changes.
The milliGAT is stepper motor driven and fully computer controllable. The device may be controlled via either the RS-422 protocol or USB. User interfaces include the Global OS touchpanel, a LabVIEW driver, and an extensive device control package, FloZF. Contact Global FIA to download the LabVIEW driver or basic version of FloZF for free. The milliGAT pump can also be controlled directly using ASCII commands sent from a terminal emulator such as CoolTerm. Parameters include flow rate, flow direction, metered volumes, ramp rates, automatic backlash correction, and many others.
